Yesterday as we made plans with Ben's aunt Caroline, we were informed that today the queens birthday was being celebrated (called Trooping of the Colour) and there would be a parade in the morning! So naturally, going along with the theme of the trip, we took advantage of the unique opportunity and saw a magnificent parade through the streets of London, out of and then back to Buckingham palace!
After the parade we met Ben's aunt and her daughters for a much appreciated lunch where we tasted the Indian cuisine that London has to offer.
Because of our train tickets to Paris being a day later due to availability, we are exploring London a little bit at a time and are excited to do some site seeing around the south bank tomorrow.
